Teachers deserve more than a free coffee and a generic “thank you.” At Reading Rev, we know the heart, energy, patience, and persistence it takes to teach children to read. We know the long days, the data meetings, the emotional weight, the victories that no one else sees, and the relentless belief teachers carry for their students every single day.
This month, we want to celebrate YOU in a meaningful way. Throughout May, we’ll be cheering teachers on with giveaways, encouragement, free resources, classroom support, professional learning, and opportunities to connect with an incredible community of educators who are changing lives through literacy.

TEACHER OF THE YEAR
The Reading Rev Teacher of the Year is an educator who is changing lives through literacy. This teacher leads with heart, shows up for students day after day, and is committed to helping all children become confident, capable readers. They embrace growth, implement purposeful instruction, and create classrooms where students feel supported, challenged, and successful. Whether through the Reading Rev program, professional development, intervention work, or structured literacy practices, this teacher is making a measurable impact on student learning and inspiring others along the way.
Teachers will be selected based on the authenticity of their story, evidence of student growth, passion for literacy instruction, and the impact they are making in their classrooms or schools. To apply, teachers may submit the form below and a short 2-minute video sharing how Reading Rev has supported their students and instruction this year. The winning teacher will receive $500 and be celebrated across Reading Rev platforms as part of our mission to honor educators making a difference for children.
